‘The String Pulse Experience’ Features Hendrick Hudson Talent

Hendrick Hudson student musicians are heading to the big stage next week.

At 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, string students from Buchanan-Verplanck, Furnace Woods, and Frank G. Lindsay Elementary Schools and Blue Mountain Middle School will join singers from the Middle School Select Choir and the Hendrick Hudson High School Treblemakers in “The String Pulse Experience,” at the historic Paramount Hudson Valley theatre, in Peekskill.

Headlining the show is the dazzling electric violinist Daisy Jopling. In addition to Jopling’s band, other professionals on the roster include renowned percussionist Simon Boyar, performing with Hendrick Hudson Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter, also on percussion, and body percussionist /beat boxer Michael Feigenbaum.
