Expect Road Closures, Detours in Peekskill This Week

There will be road closures and delays as crews work on the water mains and valves at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Washington Street beginning Monday (Jan. 13), according to the City of Peekskill. 

The work could last through Wednesday (Jan. 15). Local traffic will be allowed for residents and business owners.

Here are the details, as provided on the city's website:

• At Dyckman Street prohibiting westbound traffic on Franklin
• At Smith Street prohibiting eastbound traffic on Franklin

Washington Street will be closed: 

• At Roosevelt Ave and detour northbound Washington Street traffic west on Roosevelt Ave
• At Bay Street and detour southbound Washington Street traffic either east or west on Bay Street
