Peekskill Be First Boxing Continues Golden Gloves Success

Krashna Gibbs of Peekskill Be First Boxing knocked out Terrence Sims Saturday during a Golden Gloves match in Brooklyn.

Peekskill Be First Boxing continued building its reputation in the New York amateur boxing scene Saturday when Krashna Gibbs scored a second-round knockout over Terrence Sims at St. Patrick’s High School, located at 9511 Fourth Ave. in Brooklyn.

The fought was fought in the 152-pound novice division weight class. Simms fights out of the Judah Brothers Boxing Club in Brooklyn, which is run by the father of former world welterweight champion Zab Judah.

“I never thought it’d be this easy,” Gibbs told the NY Daily News Saturday.. “I realized he didn’t have any speed, so I just kept working on him.”
