WHAT:Seventh annual minor league doubleheader features some of the best and most promising prospects in the Red Sox farm system.

Red Sox teamed up with Lucasfilm Ltd. to incorporate Star Wars themed programming elements and family-friendly activities.

• Free lightsabers for first 1000 kids to visit a Red Sox Kid Nation booth, located at Gates A, B, E and the left-field deck near the Mickey Mouse statue.

• First 500 people wearing a costume can participate in pre-game costume parade around the warning track. Prizes awarded for most creative costumes.

• Ceremonial first pitch from the top of the Green Monster using the “force.”

• Chance for kids to run the bases and take pictures with Star Wars characters after the second game.

• Chewbacca takes over the PA in the first game for the “Sith inning” stretch and leads the crowd in “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.”

Other family-friendly activities include: live music from Josh & the JamTones; balloon artists; face painting; miniature golf; skeeball; magicians; stilt walkers; player autograph sessions .
