Children's Races Set for Columbus Day
Registration for Monday's race begins at 9 a.m. Races start at 9:30 a.m.
The Taconic Road Runners Club and the City of Peekskill Recreation Department is hosting “Running Races for Children” on Monday, which is Columbus Day.
The races, which are open to students in grades 1-6, will take place at the Depew Park cinder track. Registration begins 9 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Pool and the first race is at 9:30 a.m. The entry fee is $3.
All runners must be accompanied by an adult and must have the attached permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Check out the PDF attached to this story for more information.
