Peekskill Be First Boxers Land in Golden Gloves Quarterfinals
Boxers Omar Hassan and Krahsna Gibbs are in the quarterfinals of the New York Golden Gloves boxing tournament. The quarterfinals begin Wednesday.
Peekskill Be First Boxing hopes to continue its round of success this week when two of the gym’s boxers compete in the quarterfinals of the New York Golden Gloves amateur boxing tournament.
Omar Hassan, who fights in the 132-pound weight class and Krashna Gibbs , who fights in the152-pound weight class, will head into quarterfinals, which begin next week.
Gibbs is coming off of a second-round knockout of Terrence Sims in Brooklyn earlier this month.
