Zuckerman Holds Big Lead in County Judge Race

David Zuckerman held 65 percent while Mathew Troy III had 35 percent Tuesday night. Election officials had tallied 80 percent of the total vote as of 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Democratic candidate David Zuckerman held an overwhelming lead over his Republican rival, Matthew Troy, in the Westchester County Judge's race Tuesday night.

Zuckerman, a New Castle Town Justice, had 156,351 votes  while Troy, an acting justice for the Village of Port Chester, had 83,773, according to unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections.  Election officials had tallied 80 percent of the vote as of 2 a.m.

The position carries a 10 year term and a salary of $136,700.
