In an ongoing effort to remove massive snow piles before the next storm, crews from Peekskill's Department of Public Works will be clearing the city's downtown Wednesday, Feb. 13, starting at 7 a.m.
"Ongoing snow removal efforts from last weekend's storm will occur during the daytime to avoid costly overtime expenses," explains Greg Rich, foreman, City of Peekskill's Department of Public Works.
Rich also asks the public for their assistance by parking in city lots Wednesday morning--rather than use metered parking--while crews haul away excess snow.
