The Supervisor has declared a state of emergency effective Friday, October 26, 2012 following New York State Declaration due to the upcoming storm for the Town of Cortlandt.
- Two thousand sand bags were distributed to Cortlandt residents today.
- The Town of Cortlandt Shelter located at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center on Westbrook Drive will be opening tonight, Oct. 28, beginning at 7 p.m. Pets will be allowed in crates. Please bring blankets and non perishable goods.
- Please visit the Town of Cortlandt website for additional information with respect garbage pick up.
- All Town Parks will be closed effective 6pm on Sunday,Oct. 28.
- The Town of Cortlandt Emergency Operations Center has been in operation since Friday and will continue through the duration of the storm.
- Town Hall offices will be open on Monday, Oct. 29.
- The Supervisor's Budget Press Conference scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. has been postponed.
