Peekskill Man Accused of Stealing from Cars Arrested in Ossining

By Krista Madsen

A 21-year-old Peekskill man was arrested on an Ossining warrant stemming from a charge of possession of stolen property earlier this year.

The man was nabbed in Sleepy Hollow by Phelps Memorial Hospital and taken into custody for a warrant out of Ossining. Lt. William Sullivan of Ossining Police said he had been found in possession in March of property allegedly stolen from cars in the village.

Police found he also had a warrant out in Peekskill for larceny.

He was arraigned in town court and taken to Westchester County Jail, Sullivan said.

Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
