The Journal News reports a man was hit by a train and killed while walking along the train tracks early Monday.

Authorities described the deceased man as Hispanic, in his mid-30s. According to the Journal News article, the man was walking along the tracks around 3:15 to 3:30 a.m. about a half of a mile north of Hudson Avenue when he was hit by a train coming from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie.
