A 34-year-old Bedford Hills man is accused of drunken driving after police found him asleep behind the wheel of a parked vehicle in Peekskill.

Officer Chatoyer Woodland came across the man at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 1,000-block of Lower South Street. He was found to be intoxicated, and officials say he had a permit that was expired and suspended.

The defendant is facing misdemeanors charges of driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
