NOT the NEWS.

This site is truly a sorry state of affairs for what passes for news....press releases, ads, "blogs" which, again, are nothing but further advertisements. 
There is NO NEWS.
Nothing. 
Nothing about local politics. A story will appear about what is happening in OUR community, and then get bumped to the bottom, never to appear again, at the expense of a plastic surgeon or a press release from Entergy or a "blog" from a car dealer. 
There is no debate, there is no fire, there  are no comments any more. 
Remember when Rasheed would actually would go to common council meetings? Remember when Rasheed would work a beat, and cover/feature local happenings/art events? Remember when every day, there was PEEKSKILL/ CORTLANDT news in the headlines, not fluff? 
This is not a news source, this is a glorified bunch of flyers thrown together with a few scattered articles hastily punched in from outside sources, who have no idea what Peekskill is all about. 

There are real problems facing this town -- get a REPORTER on the ground, running, and cover. Do some stories. Do some digging.
