Frank Catalina Man of Many Faces

“Billboard Frank” is on too many corners. Walk or drive around town and “Billboard Frank” is in your face. In most of Westchester County lawn signs are of a similar size. Not in Peekskill. In Peekskill, Frank Catalina puts up billboard signs that are held up by great big pieces of lumber. This is visual pollution! Frank Catalina is making Peekskill ugly.

“Healthy Frank” bought twelve years of health insurance from the City of Peekskill after he resigned from his city attorney job in 2001.  He claims he was vested even though he didn’t have five years continuous service.  At end of 2012, some city personnel were let go. In early 2013 job responsibilities were redistributed and this is when a check from Frank for health insurance surfaced. Why, when this came to light, did Frank immediately agree to buy private insurance if, as he says, he was entitled to get it through the city?

"Transparent Frank" has not told us if he will continue the Foster transparency/accountability policy by keeping all work sessions and council meetings on TV for the residents of Peekskill.

"Financial Frank" is not telling us that the Republicans from 2002-2007 had an average of a 7.3% tax levy and 6.5% tax rate and the Democrats from 2008 to 2013 had an average of a  1.5% tax levy and 2.41% tax rate (NYS Tax Cap applicable to tax levy).  Do we want to go back to the Republicans high tax levy and tax rates?

“Peekskill Employee Frank” held two city positions, IDA Counsel and Corporation Counsel during the years.  He was discharged from his IDA position for the poor quality of his work.  He was asked to resign from his Corporation Counsel position under somewhat mysterious circumstances.  If you’ve lost two city jobs, how can you think you should be our city’s mayor?

“Historical Frank” was a trustee in the city of Monroe in 1987and ran for mayor. During this time he appeared in court to answer 21 misdemeanor charges and one felony charge arising from forged signatures on his mayoral nominating petitions   He walked away with a plea bargain: disorderly conduct violation and his court records sealed.  Oh, and he was required to resign from the Monroe board of trustees  He did not win the election for mayor, but if he didn't do wrong why didn't he run for mayor again?

How many more faces will Frank show us if elected?
