Community Update

My name is Christopher LoGiudice and Dr. Sommer performed a Sleeve Gastrectomy on me on June 11th of this year. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. This man instills confidence!!He makes you WANT to succeed!! He has surrounded himself with true pros...from Ruthie (who basically runs the entire office in Cortland Manor single handedly) right on down to the nurses assistants in the hospital, who carry themselves like seasoned pros. I was truly blown away by the efficiency of treatment which I received, and the ongoing effort and empathy I am still getting. A couple years back I went to another facility in hopes of getting surgery, but at that place you don't get to meet the Dr. until AFTER you have completed the list of prerequisites. It wore me out...I got burnt out on endless repetitive visits where nothing was really getting done. With NYBG I attended 1 online seminar, made an appointment, and then met Dr. Sommer immediately, and THAT has made all the difference for me. I completed my prerequisites in a month because after meeting him I had real hope for the first time in a very long time. Now..at 49 years of age I have lost 50 pounds in 40 days and I eat like a champion. I cannot wait to see where I am at a year from now. :)
