Educational Advocate Jillian Clausen of Helping Hands Advocacy and Maria Pereira are Sworn in as a BOE Members

Jillian Clausen and Maria Pereira were officially sworn in as the new Board of Education members at Tuesday's meeting.  The ceremony which took place at the Administration building was short, but very poignant to the newly elected members.  Ms. Clausen who is rumoured to be the youngest elected member in the Peekskill City School District's BOE history, was excited and ready to start her duties.  Ms. Pereira was equally excited.  Also being sworn in for a third term was Michael Simkins.  All three were voted into this term at the May 21st elections.
