The 28th annual Running Races for Children Columbus Day event is taking place at the Depew Park track in Peekskill today.
Youngsters in grades one through six are invited to participate. All races are a quarter mile. Each runner will receive a ribbon.
Registration opens at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $3. Additional donations will go to the Peekskill Ambulance Corps. Learn more about the event by clicking here.
