Donors Rally to Bring Classroom Library to Woodside

Five donors, over the course of just five days, donated the $500 needed to bring a desired "classroom library" to Woodside Elementary School, according to a blog post by the district on Patch.

The project was funneled through charity website donorschoose.org, where teachers request funds needed to fulfill educated-related projects in K-12 public schools nationwide.

The students who benefitted from the books made thank you notes to send to the donors, according to the announcement.

"I think I was most touched by people’s investments in my student’s success in literacy," said Melina Cronin, the teacher who submitted the request.
