The Family Resource Center of Peekskill, Inc.'s Xmas Party 2011 for the Homeless & Community Sponsors aka "Share the Joy"

The Family Resource Center of Peekskill, Inc. (FRC) + its' colloborative sponsors would like to invite persons who are impoverished out to its annual Xmas Party 2011 for the homeless.  Each Year FRC has hosts this event which was nicknamed "Share the Joy" by teachers + volunteers at Panas High.  For nearly 20 years, the not-for-profit's strategic key community partner has been the the faculty, teachers, students, and parents under the leadership of Mrs. Susan Strauss, Principal of Panas High.  Other organizations who will be participating are as follows:  Mt. Olivet Street Reach Ministries, Cornell University, Berkley College Student Volunteers + Staff, the Peekskill + Mohegan Lake Girl Scout Troops, The Black Womens Political Caucus, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Mr. Tommy Dabbs + A Little Bit of This + That Band, Westchester County Press + many more....

A professionally catered meal prepared by local caters + restaurants will be served to all while Mr. Tommy Dabbs & Band sererade all in attendance with the gift of music.  All children will receive toys, fun, and a nutritious meal....we will have gifts for adults and elderly persons who are impoverished.  According to statistics from the Mayo Clinic, "Many persons suffer from depression (causing other medical related illnesses) during the holiday season"....  You don't have to be lonely this holiday season....come out and Share the Joy...as we celebrate and keep the Real meaning of Christmas in perpective!!1
