Alliance (PAA) showing off artists in their studios and several special art exhibits
throughout historic Downtown Peekskill, NY. Celebrate art all day and enjoy music & dining in the bustling cafes and restaurants at night.
Meet us at the Gazebo! Guided and self-guided tours available. Find maps with studio locations and events at the Jan Peek Gazebo on the corner of N. Division St.and Park St.
Diversity – Step into the fascinating world of the artists’ studios and ask questions about the eclectic mix of contemporary, classic, modern, portrait, landscape, photography,intuitive art, and so much more! You’ll also find pottery, jewelry, sculpture, collage, plus works on paper, canvas, motorcycle helmets, silk and glass!
Sophistication – Sun, June 8th – reception 5-7PM the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts joins HVCCA creating a mind-blowing exhibit featuring Aaron Taylor Kuffner’s, “Inthe Garden of Sonic Delights”in a special installation at 100 – 150 Water St., Peekskill. Open Sat & Sun, the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art is featuring, “Art at the Core” with free admission to the public. Click here for more HVCCA
Ink! – The art of tattoo has exploded! 3 venues will be hosting exhibits of works by several noted tattoo artists: PeekskillCoffee House, Speakeasy Tattoo Salon, and Beale Street Barber Shop. See listings below.
Sublime Sculpture – Take the Hudson Line train to Peekskill, be sure and check out the beautiful Riverfront Park brimming with sculpture. Also on the corner of Main St. and Bank find the Sculpture Garden. More sculpture can be found at the HVCCA and at the Peekskill Hat Factory and more!
Truck Stop Gallery – Artists take their awesome work on the road! 7 artists set up shop inside U-haultrucks displaying their paintings, sculptures, crafts and more! Stop by Central Ave. just down from thegazebo and check them out!

vibrant community. New artists and performers continue to flock to Peekskill each year.

This annual, “Open Studios 2014” is being presented by the Peekskill Arts Alliance with generous support from the Artswestchester, NYSCA, the Peekskill Business Improvement District, City of Peekskill, and the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce. Arts Alive Project Grants are made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program (DEC), a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.

- Westchester Community College Gallery – Peekskill artists located outside of
Downtown or “Off the Beaten Track” will be showing their work at the WCC
gallery located at 27 North Division Street, Peekskill. - Paramount Hudson Valley – “Sneak Peek Showcase”, an exhibit with examples of works to be found in each participating artist's studio.
