A Solo Show by Larry Kirwan will be held on Sunday, October 6th, 2013 at 4.00PM at The Hudson Valley Irish Center at 210 6th Street in Verplanck. Musician/Composer Larry Kirwan will perform Foster in the Five Points - a new solo show featuring songs from his musical Hard Times and an in depth look at Stephen Foster, The NYC Draft Riots of 1863 and the Five Points, the world's most notorious slum.
Taking the audience back to the world of Stephen Foster during the summer of 1863 when New York City is in the midst of the Draft Riots and Foster is writing some of his best, and most personal songs.
Mr. Kirwan will play music, discuss his career, and provide a question and answer session.
