Real estate is truly local, it’s one thing to know how the market is doing nationally, but what we need to know is-how is the local market?  This is the place to find out.  Local sales tell the story.  Look at the list of homes sold this past week, compare the size, style, and price.  See how you think your home measures up. 

You already know that many things can affect your home’s value. The schools, the taxes, the town services, they are all factors.  Yet, each buyer is as individual as each home listed.  What works for one person may not work for another, and what is important to one, may be a non-issue for another. 

So yes, while looking at the real estate market nationally is one measure, more important than that is, how is my market doing?   Remember, you can keep an eye on the market right here, and be sure to check back with Patch to find Open Houses scheduled for this coming weekend.
