The National Weather Service is forecasting snow and freezing rain before 9 a.m. this morning. Patchy fog and light winds are also expected this morning. Today's high temperature is expected to reach the mid-40s, before dropping to the low 30s at night.

5.) Animal Rescue Fundraiser at the Quiet Man Pub in Peekskill
The Quiet Man Public House in Peekskill is hosting the "All They Need is Love" fundraiser for animal rescue. There will be live music, guest bartenders, food and raffles. There is no entrance fee, but organizers ask that attendees tip generously. All money raised will be used to fund animal rescue efforts.
