Enterprise Holdings Gives Back to the Hudson Valley Community  in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Hudson Valley, New York, January 24, 2014- In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Northern New York operations team of Enterprise Holdings, the corporate parent of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, organized a food drive with the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry.

“We are honored to give back to the community through our work with the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry on this special day of service in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.,” said Katie Wolverton, Human Resources Generalist. “With the frigid temperatures, it’s important to remember the men and women who are displaced on the streets and in need of a nutritious meal. Our participation, made possible through the dedication of our employees, created a wonderful experience and connection with the community. As always, we strive to make a positive difference for communities in which we live and work.”

The Northern New York operations team established a food drive for the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry to collect non-perishable items such as canned soups, water, and cereal. On January 20, the items were delivered, stored and stocked at the food pantry by the operations team.
