Peekskill, NY -- For those local foodies in the know, the word has gotten out: downtown Peekskill has become a leading destination in the Hudson Valley for hand‐spun pizzas, authentically poured pints, expertly shaken cocktails, and fine dining.  In the spirit of wishing winter a fond farewell, six leading downtown restaurants are offering one week of prix fixe specials to celebrate the coming of warmer weather.

In addition, diners who participate in the Downtown Peekskill Restaurant Week between Feb. 25 and March 3 will receive special discounts at other participating businesses in downtown Peekskill.

"It's where you can find craft brew, a rock‐and‐roll barber, vintage trains and vintage vinyl...you can even feast on octopus pizza and dig into the best Eggs Benedict on homemade biscuits we've ever had,"‐ said Toni Seneca, host of Toni On New York.

She actually pronounced "Jan" the right way ("yon" as in yonder). People from Peekskill generally pronounce Jan the way it sounds in "Jan" Brady..
