The Cortlandt Goes Green-Shop Cortlandt event is an opportunity for businesses and the community to join together for a common cause of supporting each other and supporting green living and consuming. Read the schedule below:
The kickoff for the event will be on Friday at 3 p.m. at Cole’s Market.
The schedule of events:
Now until Friday, April 29: pick up your information bag at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library, Croton Free Library orCole’s Market in Montrose and become eligible to enter various raffles at Cortlandt Town Hall. The bags contain a shopper’s card with a list of participating businesses. Shop local and recieve a stamp each time in order to win a prize. Once your card is full you will be eligible to win various raffles. The winners will be announced at the May Town Board meeting.
Friday: Attend the kick-off ceremony at Cole’s Market in Montrose at 3 p.m.
Saturday:
-9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: E-waste drop off at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, Westbrook Drive, Cortlandt Manor
-11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Stop and Swap: bring items that you would like to donate or swap. Drop off begins at 10 a.m. at the Morabito Community Center.
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Clean-up your neighborhood. Pick up supplies at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center and volunteer to keep the community clean. For more information call 914-734-1002
