Photo Gallery: Tri-Village Memorial Day Parade

The Town of Cortlandt, Village of Croton-on-Hudson and Village of Buchanan held a ceremony in honor of our past and present heroes on this Memorial Day.

More than 800 people came to Verplank to celebrate this year's Merorial Day parade. The 911 Memorial Steel, which the Town of Cortlandt, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, and Village of Buchanan obtained for the creation of a permanent 911 memorial, was on display and was at the forefront of Monday's grand march through town. Local Boy Scouts, B-V Daisy's and high school marching bands, veterans, local fire departments and EMS all participated.

Activities culminated with a speech by Cortlandt Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi, who paid tribute to country's heroes.
