Stella the Trolley "Driving Miss Daisy" in St. Patrick's Day Parade

Move over Daisy Jopling, there’s a new Daisy in town, and like you she came from a foreign land.  Formally
known as KitnKrazy Daisy, she came all the way from Wyoming, Ontario.  Similar to Daisy Jopling, KitnKrazy Daisy is also a first for Peekskill.  Daisy Jopling is Peekskill’s first internationally renowned violin virtuoso, and (we believe) KitnKrazy Daisy is the first Sphynx cat to call Peekskill home.

For those not familiar with Sphynx cats, they are hairless.  But what they lack in hair, they make up for in personality.  For obvious reasons, Sphynx are not outdoor
cats, but residents of Peekskill may very well get to see Miss KitnKrazy Daisy out and about next week as she rides aboard Stella the Trolley in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  If Daisy takes a liking to riding the trolley, she may very well become the trolley mascot.

Stella the Trolley and KitnKrazy Daisy hope to see everyone next week along the parade route.  The parade will begin at 3:00 pm at the fire house on S. Division Street.  It will then make a left on First Street, go right
on Union Avenue, then right on Central Avenue, left on N. Division Street, right on Main Street, right on N. James Street and right on Brown Street where it will end at the  Elks Lodge.  The reviewing stands are James between Park
and Brown Streets.
