The Grove At New Windsor Nears Sell-Out In Orange County's Town Of New Windsor

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. – The Grove at New Windsor has soared past the 90% sold mark as homebuyers continue to respond to the community’s well-appointed townhomes and affordable pricing.

Less than 15 residences are all that remain at this suburban Orange County, N.Y. neighborhood where more than 100 young couples, growing families and single-professionals have realized their American Dream of homeownership.

Boasting townhome designs priced from just the mid $200,000s and a convenient location with a distinctly country-feel, The Grove has been wildly popular with first time buyers seeking a suburban address away from the hustle-and-bustle of New York City, yet still within a short commute into Manhattan.

“The Grove at New Windsor has achieved a level of sales that has not been seen in Orange County since the height of the housing market,” says Brett Tinney, Vice President of Sales for Baker Residential, which is developing The Grove on the site of the former Stewart Military base in the Orange County Town of New Windsor.

“Many of our homebuyers are initially drawn by our pricing which provides incredible value.    Once they see the spacious and well appointed townhome designs and incredible lifestyle package we’re offering here, they are quickly making their decision to purchase.”

Included in the remaining homes are some of the most sought-after two- and three-bedroom layouts, including the Maple, Aspen and Birch designs.  Townhomes range from 1,795 to 2,139 square feet and include two-car garages and finished recreation rooms.  The Birch design offers a one-car garage.

Designer features found throughout the homes, include luxurious master suites with vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, private baths with double vanity, stall shower and soaking tub, and gourmet kitchens with center islands.  All homes come with a  one or two car garage, a private deck or patio and most homes have spacious finished recreation rooms.

Commuter convenience is ideal at The Grove at New Windsor which is near Interstate 84 and the New York State Thruway. A variety of mass transit options are readily available including the Metro North and NJ Transit rail service and CoachUSA bus service via the 17K Park-N-Ride. Those flying out of or into the area will enjoy the ease that comes with having Stewart International Airport close by.

Those looking for a grander shopping experience will be pleased to find the Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall, with over 200 specialty shops and outlet stores, only a short drive away.

Residents at The Grove will enjoy an active and social lifestyle from the day they move in thanks to an existing 4,100 square-foot clubhouse which offers a host of amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, game room, residents lounge, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and deck/patio with commanding views of the surrounding mountains and landscape.

Nestled in the historic Hudson River Valley, The Grove at New Windsor boasts a country-like atmosphere with panoramic mountain views.
