Mother's Comfort Project Westchester

SEWING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Mother’s Comfort Project Westchester is a combined effort of founding organization, Rational Animal, www.rationalanimal.org, and Dancing for Animals, www.dancingforanimals.org.  This project brings volunteers together for sewing sessions to create comfortable beds for shelter animals, as well as catnip toys for the cats.  The next sewing session is being held on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 from 10AM – 5PM.  Fabric Mart of Yorktown Heights graciously hosts our events.  You do not have to come for the whole day, but we would love it if you did!  We need fabric & batting cutters, toy stuffers as well as sewers!  If interested in volunteering, having fun and helping shelter animals, please contact Liz Peterson at kjg2@msn.com or 914-737-2228.
