Spring, Summer Highlight Fight Against Cancer in Lower Hudson Valley

This spring and summer bring a slew of Relay for Life events to the region.

Pace University family and friends raised more than $50,000 on April 26 in Pleasantville.

This Saturday includes events at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua and at the Hackley School in Tarrytown. Combined, the two events have some 80 teams and 667 participants who have already raised more than $178,940.

There are R4Ls in Somers and New Rochelle on May 31 and one in Mahopac June 1. There's one in Yorktown June 14. There's one for Rye Brook and Port Chester and another in Ossining June 15. Katonah and Lewisboro have their event scheduled for June 21.
