Things to Enjoy This Weekend: Rubber Duckies in Cortlandt, Peekskill's Men Who Cook

There are tons of ways to keep busy around Cortlandt and Peekskill this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you.

Battle of the Rubber Duckies
When: Noon Sunday
Where: Sprout Brook Park at 130 Sprout Brook Road in Cortlandt Manor
Why go? When else will you have a chance to witness tons of rubber duckies racing? The Cortlandt Rotary is sponsoring this event, which is in its fourth year. In addition to the race, there will be food, games for kids and live music.

Hudson Hop and Harvest
When: 2 p.m. Saturday
Where: Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill
Why go? If you're a fan of craft beer and/or farm-to-table food, this event is for you. The first time around this event drew 5,000 people, so expect a big turnout and a beautiful day (weather forecasts call for temperatures to hit a high of 81 degrees).

Men Who Cook
When: 4 p.m. Saturday
Where: City of Peekskill Youth Bureau at 828 Main Street in Peekskill
Why go? This annual event raises money for the city's youth bureau while offering community members the chance to sample foods prepared by 50 men who are experts at the grill, the oven and the stovetop. Proceeds will support the new youth bureau kitchen.
