Husband and wife artists, Douglas and Jessica Nash, host an opening reception of their joint art show, Grounded, at the Peekskill Coffee House, 101 South Division Street, Peekskill, NY on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 4pm to 6pm. The couple, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, says they are "married to art and each other." Jessica paints, while Douglas prefers photography, and in this exhibit, the couple explores the divergent views of nature and perception in their show. The show's title, Grounded, came from the couple's mutual interest in layering and the surreal scenes the layers create. The public is invited. The couple's work can also be viewed during normal business hours through September 28, 2013.
