Puglisi, Uncontested for Cortlandt Supervisor, Gears Up for Another Term

Linda Puglisi, who has been Cortlandt Town Supervisor for 22 years, looks forward to her twelfth term in office and she's already the longest serving Super in the town's history.

Patch had to ask why she's interested in another go at this position and what her intentions are for this next round. Here's a short Q&A with Puglisi.

Patch: What compels you to seek (yet) another term in office?

Puglisi:
I am very proud of our record and there's more to do including a third new Master Plan during my administration. I love being Town Supervisor. It's a great town.

Patch: What would you say are your highest priorities going forward and the issues of greatest importance for the Town of Cortlandt?

Puglisi:
Continue to keep town taxes low, continue to keep our families safe and plan for many new improvements for our residents quality of life.

Patch: Successes you've had in your long history in this position? Things you might do differently or improve upon in another term?

Puglisi:
Continue to work hard for our residents and do more roadand sidewalk improvements and a biking/walking pathway network in town; as well as more recreational projects for all age groups.  At the same time attract new businesses balancing this with open space preservation.

Patch: What will you be up to tomorrow on election day? Where/when do you vote and watch the election results?

Puglisi:
I will be supporting my team and we'll be at Gaetano's Restaurant off Rte. 9A.
