The owners at Sansotta Brothers deli on Westbrook Drive in Cortlandt Manor are slated to open another location soon.
Dan Sansotta said the new location—on Crompond Road next to Peekskill Wine and Liquor—is undergoing a "complete renovation." The space did house a deli previously, but it's set to see all new equipment.
"The time was right, and the opportunity was right," Dan said, adding that he hopes the new location is open by September. "We needed to expand."
Dan and his brother Mike Sansotta, both Cortlandt Manor residents, opened the deli about 10 years ago. They also run a banquet and catering venue at The Christopher Columbus Society on Crompond Road in Peekskill.
The new deli "won't be so much of the Italian theme," Dan said. It will offer a salad bar; to-go meals, for one or many; and specials that change daily. Those will likely include fish, prime rib, roasted chicken and more.
Sansotta Deli is located at 2 West Brook Drive in Cortlandt Manor. The new deli will be located at 2008 Crompond Road in Cortlandt Manor. The Christopher Columbus Society is located at 1847 Crompond Road in Peekskill.
