Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts is up and running in Peekskill's Beach Shopping Center, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 8:45 a.m. Thursday.
The store carries supplies for a range of activities, including jewelry-making, knitting, quilting, scrap-booking and sewing. Floral and seasonal items are part of the inventory, too.
The grand opening celebration will run from Thursday (Nov. 21) to Saturday (Nov. 23), and will include giveaways, sales, craft demonstrations and more. Doors open at 9 a.m. each day.
