The restaurant was established in…More 1974, when former Peekskill resident and entrepreneur Onofrio Siniscalchi was only a senior in high school and decided to open a business of his own.</p> <p>Onofrio's thrived for nearly 30 years when, sadly, Siniscalchi went into semi-retirement. His much beloved pizza and family recipes disappeared from the Peekskill restaurant scene.</p> <p>After an eight-year break, Siniscalchi reopened Onofrio's in the fall of 2010. The current menu includes its former delicious homemade Italian recipes and sorely missed pizza -- pizza that Onofrio's customers will gladly tell you is the best you will find in town, bar none.</p>
