Peekskill Celebration organizes, plans and solicits sponsors for the annual festival by the same name.  The…More Peekskill Celebration Festival is held in August in the Peekskill Riverfront area and downtown and is the highlight of summer.  The weekend-long festival features corporate and not-for-profit sponsored dragon boat races, live music and entertainment and more than 100 vendor booths including crafts and food.  This is a family focused event with lots of activities for kids, fireworks and a cancer-awareness race and rose ceremony.  </p> <p>The office is open year-round to plan the grand August event.</p>
