The massive dips at all of the manhole covers are probably worse now than they were before- they should have raised them before paving. Also the actual asphalt job itself was pretty crappy.

Half the signs are a very bad driver distraction. Confuseing and very dangerous. Also they take away from the beauty of the city. More signs than what we need every where you look.

I think they use kids who are vulnerable - kids looking for self -worth. They send them to places with disease and danger. Girls get abused on these trips more than people realize.

As for Reserve Police being "difficult to sell to the public"-- you need a publicist and/or a better blogger. IMO that's an EASY sell.
Of course, the words "travel" and "conference" imply boondoggles; it also would be interesting to know who those "solicitors" are and what their personal relationships with the Reserve Police are.

I miss going on vacations with my best friend and his family to Seaside Heights and Wildwood, NJ…Read More and hearing the announcement, "watch the tram cars please" and riding everything at the park. I also remember Playland and Palisades amusement parks. They had the best roller coasters. What fun and no worries.

Reminds us why incenting growth of smaller and medium size companies is so important for US employment. Wish the President would pay attention to the right things, and re-think tax policy.

Through my Dad's employment he had two overseas assignments Paris , France with only 6 months technical school and worked amongst teams of people from Ivy Leagues Colleges. He worked very closely with Japan and Germany as a WW2 Vet no less.
Certainly times have changed with every industry look at GM and the whole banking field. It is the wave of the times unfortunately.
