Bad enough that there are buffer zones but even worse that the AG spends more public funds toRead More publicize this. What is it about infanticide that makes it a woman's healthcare issue? Really who care Medically or for Recreation use it's a plant that Mother Nature gave us and no oneRead More not even our government has any right to tell us what to do with it. They nee to concentrate on not spending so much money on themselves and spend it on the Men & Women who fight to keep this Country Safe, Our forefather's gave up alot for our freedom and this Government is not doing what these Men set out to do just the opposite they are regulating everything around us and dropping the ball on the important things - So you can have your opinion but mine will always be that the Government should stay out of what we the people do with our own lives and bodies when it come to the plants that Mother Nature gave US!!!

The definition of a sociopath: someone who defiantly breaks rules and then feels oppressed by peopleRead More who are abiding by the law. LOL! So let's avoid the sociopathic reactions, OK? Of course, slow drivers should yield the left lane. It's common courtesy and it prevents dangerous passing situations. BUT, every solution has its limit. If you intend to travel at 90 or 100 MPH, you're a danger to yourself and anyone else on the road. A car is only a machine, man! Anything mechanical can happen. Deer also cross the road oblivious to traffic. Consider also how speed itself becomes an addiction. Making the high speeder slow down is like depriving an addict of his/her drug. Sometimes, on the Palisades Pkwy for example, driving in the right lane is dangerous because oncoming drivers don't yield. So for a few exits there, it's reasonable to keep left. The bottom line: control the testosterone surges and have some mutual respect.
peter s. July 11, 2014 at 05:22 am
Someone might have a legitimate reason for being in a hurry such as a medical emergency. Only lawRead More enforcement persons have the right to regulate someone else's speed. The outside lane should be for passing only. Too many road rage incidents result from self righteous drivers imposing their own limits on strangers without knowing their situation.
Steve Green July 11, 2014 at 08:52 pm
LOL! Must be a whole lot of medical emergencies every day, every minute, eh? What is thisRead More "self-righteous" crap? Going over 80 MPH is just plain dangerous. You're quick to call others "self-righteous". But what about your attitude? Entitled. Speed-addicted? Affluenza? Enough name-calling. Let's find some common ground that's also safe to everyone on the road. Job pressures, productivity demands, stressful commutes, economic stress. We are all pressured. Don't take it out on each other. Give the 99% a break and tax the Koch Brothers and their ilk. Then maybe we'd all be a little more relaxed.

If you think Obamacare is capitalism you are stupider than I thought. It's not capitalism when theRead More government takes from a group to subsidize another group, that is pretty much the definition of socialism. On top of that the expanded medicare gives those in "need" completely free care. On top of that the role of government has expanded where they now force everyone to have insurance and control what is covered and for how much through regulation. Who do you think pays for the subsidies and medicare/medicaid? I understand the difference between the VA and Obamacare and your kind generally wants VA style HC for everyone in terms of single payer. What do you think is the cause of the VA problems? Just a few employees? the veterans? can you find a way to blame the rich and successful for that one? I'll fill you in, it is that it is completely controlled by the government which consistently lead to systemic failure in pretty much everything they take on. BTW I'm completely fine with paying taxes for roads, bridges, cops, firefighters, etc and when the government can do that right. . .maybe they can start to do other things. . .first they have to do that right.

Well now that we've gotten our IMPORTANT grammar lesson for the day, and Sage has wasted valuableRead More bandwidth voicing his vast knowledge of the English language, let's deal with the problem at hand. Once again there are always two sides to the story. I work in a company where people are out with aRead More doctor's note, come back for a few days and then out for another 3 days. Come back and then take vacation 2 days later. The same people year after year. These are blacks, whites, hispanics, women, men. So it's not just one race or sex beating the system. On the other hand if you are really sick with a doctor's note then you need and deserve the time off. Unfortunately the union backs these beaters. Remember the union president and their henchmen want to be voted back in.
Socialist Worker July 2, 2014 at 01:45 am
I have yet to hear of a Union contract that has unlimited sick time and vacation. The capitalistRead More want to rid themselves of the disabled from their businesses. It's a Doctor that decides weather you get a note for time off due to being sick not a union official. What the capitalists want is to be able to fire those who are in need of medical care. The Bosses instead of Doctors want to be able to decided weather you are too sick to work. Just as they want to be able to decide what your insurance will pay for under the affordable care act. They, because of their greed, which they call the most important of human character and the invisible hand logic say that only they can decided all the important decisions you make in life off and on the job.

Per the CDC “post-exposure prophylaxis” should be initiated as soon as possibleRead More following exposure”. I wonder just how painful rabies shots are. Does the media exaggerate the reactions? (Per CDC:“post-exposure prophylaxis” The combination of human rabies immune globulin (HRIG) and vaccine is recommended for both bite and nonbite exposures, regardless of the interval between exposure and initiation of treatment. Adverse reactions to rabies vaccine and immune globulin are not common. Newer vaccines in use today cause fewer adverse reactions than previously available vaccines. Mild, local reactions to the rabies vaccine, such as pain, redness, swelling, or itching at the injection site, have been reported. Rarely, symptoms such as headache, nausea, abdominal pain, muscle aches, and dizziness have been reported. Local pain and low-grade fever may follow injection of rabies immune globulin.)
