Walter Panas High School

<p>One of three high schools in Lakeland, Walter Panas High School serves students on the west side of the district.</p> <p>It is named after the first superintendent of the district, which was formed from several smaller districts in northwestern Westchester County and southwestern Putnam County.</p> <p>According to the most recent state School Report Card on the school's website, 95 percent of general education students went on to 2- or 4-year colleges, as did 88 percent of students with disabilities.</p> <p>About 9 percent of the students are eligible for a free- or reduced-price lunch.</p>
