The Peekskill Coffee House is a bohemian-esque cafe, which is both family friendly and relaxed. In 2003, Peekskill resident Sunny Cover, along with his neighbors and friends, saw a need for a cafe-style meeting place in town. Cover responded with the opening of the Peekskill Coffee House, which has expanded to include extended hours along with weekly live music and frequent open mic nights. This cafe offers delicious breakfast and lunch treats in addition to a large selection of coffee, tea, expresso and latte drinks. In the area of the cafe complete with couches, children can play games, draw or read. Meanwhile, parents can browse through a selection of books and magazines.
