Peekskill City School District

<p>The Peekskill City School District was formed in the 1930s when the Oakside and Drum Hill districts combined. </p> <p>Peekskill City School District has five public schools - Woodside, for students pre-kindegarten through first grade students;  Oakside, grades two and three and Hillcrest, grades 4 and 5; - Peekskill middle school, grades 6-9 and Peekskill high school, 9-12 grade. </p> <p>The School District building was originally used as the Peekskill Military Acadamy building.  It boasts a well-maintained auditorium and old gymnasium that is still used today. </p> <p>There are about 200 students per grade, with a total of 800 in the high school and 600 in the middle school. </p>
