Cortlandt town's Muriel H. Morabito Community Center sits on ten acres and has bocce courts, a playground and horseshoe pits. Senior citizen clubs frequently meet at this location, and the center is used for many senior programs, such as the nutrition program, health screening, exercise class and medical transportation. The warm, brightly-lit lobby includes sofas for seating, a pool table and a bulletin board filled with notices of interesting activities and events. The gym and meeting rooms are also used for community events such as the town Halloween party and weekly Canteen for teens. The Christopher Bisordi Memorial Basketball Court facility is located at the entrance to the center on Westbrook Drive.
