Franciscan Sisters

Franciscan Sister all over the globe strive to serve Christ in the same manner of Saint Francis of Assisi.  In the sisters' view, peace can be acheived by following the simple virtues of humility, contemplative prayer, conversion and poverty.  The sisters serve the sick, the abandoned and marginalized and their ministries include early education, AIDS/HIV, elder care, food bank and clothing closet, prison and social justice.
