Constitution Marsh Sanctuary

Managed by Audubon since 1970, Constitution Marsh is a beautiful nature sanctuary located about halfway between Peekskill and Cold Spring. The park is filled with adventurous hiking trails that wind through 270 acres of tidal marsh on the banks of the Hudson River, directly across from West Point. Features of the park include a 700-f00t boardwalk where families, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts can pass the time. There is also an Education Center on the premises, which features a 500-gallon aquarium. Park services encourage patrons to follow the rules, which can be viewed at the sanctuary's website, along with additional information.
