The Church of the Comforter is a humble, yet proud church open to all. It is located downtown near the corner of Park and Broad Streets, adjacent to the New Crossroads Plaza and right next door to the Park Street African Methodist-Episcopal Zion Church. Pastors Benny L. and Gloria Johnson lead the congregation in Sunday prayer and worship service which starts at 10am sharp. Other organizational ministries include youth church and Friday prayer service.
