What a way to perk up your 80+ degree afternoon then a schnazz of iced coffee? But what happens when people get too creative with the “frap” and the “inos” and it ends up more fattening than a meal replacement?
Hmmm.....things to ponder as I try on my swim suit from last year......
Starbucks:
Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino, 500 calories and 9 grams of fat (Grande: 16 oz)
Strawberry Smoothie, 300 calories and 2 grams of fat (Grande: 16 oz, 2% milk)
Dunkin’ Donuts:
Mint Chocolate Chip Iced Latte, 230 calories and 6 grams of fat (Small: 16 oz, whole milk)
Frozen Coffee Coolatta, 390 calories and 9 grams of fat (Small: 16 oz, whole milk)
McDonalds:
McCafe Iced Mocha, 350 calories and 13 grams of fat (Medium: 16 oz, whole milk)
McCafe Vanilla Shake, 660 calories and 19 grams of fat (Medium: 16 oz)
Ummmmm.......I think I will just go with the plain iced coffee! What’s your pick?
