This Weekend: Gettysburg Anniversary; Comedy Show; Craft Fair

There are tons of ways to keep busy around Cortlandt and Peekskill this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you.

Celebration of 150th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address
When: 11 a.m. Saturday
Where: The Lincoln Depot Museum at the intersection of Centre Street and South Water Street in Peekskill
Why go? If you want to learn more about this famous 1863 speech, this event is for you. It will feature re-enactor Michael Griest as President Abraham Lincoln, delivering his powerful 272-word address. There will be several musical pieces, including some by the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Choir and some by Jay Unger and Molly Mason, organizers say. Unger is a composer whose work has appeared on the PBS mini-series "The Civil War." This is the only event of its kind in Westchester County. Lincoln visited Peekskill in 1861. Click here for more information.

St. Columbanus Holiday Craft Fair

Where: St. Columbanus Church at 122 Oregon Road in Cortlandt Manor
