There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with fog and temperatures hitting a high of 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tuesday could bring more precipitation in the morning, followed by partly sunny skies and a high of 72 degrees. The rest of the week looks mostly sunny with temperatures hovering in the high 60s and low 70s.

In municipal matters: the City of Peekskill Common Council will meet tonight to discuss the budget schedule, city manager goals, the waterfront sculpture review committee and the "What Matters" mural—as well as an appeal to the Zoning Board of Appeals in regards to the building permit issued for the Renaissance Project's methadone clinic to be constructed at 3 Corporate Drive. On Tuesday the Peekskill Planning Commission will meet.
